How to fix cigarette burns in seat upholstery?

Does any one know if there is a kit available to fix cigarette burns in seat upholstery? I bought a 99 f150 to use for parts on my 2000 f150 and I want to use the drivers side seat. The previous owner smoked and there are a few little burns in the seat. Other than getting the smoke stink out, and the little holes. the seat is in great condition. The lumbar support is broke in my 2000s seat, and the seat cover is torn. that's the reason I want the "smokey" seat.

Thanks for the reply toughie62! I never would have thought of doing that. What I ended up doing was, I took the two bad seats, and made one good one. It wasn't hard, just time consuming. And it didn't cost me anything. Now I've got a burn free, smoke free drivers seat. Thanks again.

I had some one tear a seat bolster from a tool in their pocket. Went to a junkyard and cut the back out of a torn seat. Upholster repaired the seat with the fabric. Going to repeat this on the drivers seat as the outer bolster is worn out.

Hi Shore, besides a complete reapohlstering job by a professional, I don't have an answer to your specific question, but would like to suggest an alternative.

Take a look at this web site (Seat Covers: Car Truck and Van Seat Covers), as they have some very nice custom seat covers. I have a buddy that bought a set for his F150 and they look really sharp. They fit nice and snug, so the seats don't look like a sack of potatoes. This may be a solution if nothing else works.

Good luck,
Calixto
