Quick questions on the SCT and tunes/y pipe

The computer does send the trans temp but the UG doesn't read it as it isn't in the standard OBD-II protocol, a Scan Guage can read it. The sandwich plate location should be good for oil pressure, I plan to go the same route on mine eventually. Is your meter tapped into the oil flow per or post filter?
The plate has 4 adapters...looks like this link:
Oil Cooler Sandwich Adapter - 20mm 1.5 Thread
NOTE: I don't know if this is the exact one I have, the 20mm photo looks just like the 3/4" one!
I believe I'm using the left hand port of the two on the flat part of the adapter for the temp right now.

SO, no very impressed at this point with 5 Star.
1 - Delivery. Not in their control I know, but USPS is NOT what I would call any kind of reliable delivery method. Let me show you what I mean:
...I mean...yea...it was WET on a 90+ degree day. What the f&#%? If customers are buying over $500 of parts, I'd think you'd trust the shipping to someone who knows what they are doing.
The box seemed in tact, so I went ahead and completed the tune request and used the device to get the strategy code - emailed them to 5-Star (along with the photos of the f&#%ed up box).
2 - Today I send a reminder...hey...sure would like those tunes to make this thing more than a paperweight...I need the tunes. I get them a bit later...try to upload them...guess what? Tunes aren't mine:
...really?

Received the correct tunes today...loaded them up and pushed the 87 performance tune.
Hard to tell with just a short drive over lunch, but it feels a bit livelier than before. Shifts feel shorter and I think I'm using less throttle to get up to speed than before (again, hard to tell with one to two blocks between lights).
Wish the screen was just a little brighter in daylight, but overall good first impression...will know more tonight when I can get it out on an on-ramp and get it up to freeway speeds.

It's sad but true. It's almost like they are jealous that someone in the world is getting a package and they aren't.

Update: Oh yea, the 87 Perf makes a big difference! Had a chance last night and today to get some from-a-stop acceleration and at 1/2 throttle it feels much tighter on shifts and seems to me to be staying in the power band longer. Can't wait for a chance to do a WOT launch and feel the difference. I'll have some time with the 87 Tow tune later this week as well. Happy with the purchase thus far!

Glad to hear it's OK after seeing the box!
Play around with the tunes some when towing. I have found that with my TT and my style of driving that the 87 Performance tune does a much better job for me that the 87 Tow tune does. In my situation I found that the Tow tune drops out of OD too soon on grades that the rig will pull just fine in OD, in the Perf tune it will hold the OD gear farther and only drop down when actually needed. And the 89 Perf tune is even better!
