Rebuilding 460 Injectors???

I read a thread here about rebuilding small block injectors, and swapping to 4 hole injectors, but no mention of the 460...

Are the stock 460 injectors worth rebuilding, or is there an upgrade to different ones that are worthwhile?

Mine have 290K on them and thinking maybe they could use some attention...

Even a Google search yielded me squat, so I figured I'd ask.

I've heard something about a company called Witch Hunter. Might want to check them out.

Rebuilding them may be worth it if you get a good price. Otherwise just take a look at some née ones. You can talk to a doctor injector dealer also. The only things that can really physically go wrong with them is broken pintle caps or they crack or bend from forcing them in crooked. Try talking to Brian at fiveology racing also. I could be mistaken , but I think the stock 24# injectors are already a 4 jet cap.

From what I can find all the kits for the EV1 are of the 4 hole variety... I guess that is what mine are then?

I'd like to scrounge a set or two and get 8 good ones to rebuild so that my truck isn't down, but something tells me that will be easier said then done... Not many wreckers near me, and most don't have a good selection of these trucks

The rebuild in my sig will apply to your injectors, including the parts for the rebuild. However, the 460 truck uses 24lb/hr injectors so you have to get them from a 460 as far as I know.

That helps me a lot... and narrows my search quite a bit... Thanks!
