Previous owners and stuff or are you just looking to get the VIN decoded?

Used to be you could do a DMV title search to show prior owners of a vehicle. I did it several times, but changes in privacy laws put an end to it. Stu

Kinda reminds me of a guy I worked with years ago...he was into his family's geneology, that was until he found out that his great-great-grandfather was hung as a horse thief in England. He kinda lost interest after that. Not sure that there are any skeletons to be found in your truck's past but all in all it's more about what YOU do with it that counts. Have fun!

looking for previous owners and locations as to were its been. bought the truck with a little over 13k on the odometer but it had been restored 5-10 years ago. The story is it came from a farm in Kansas and never left the farm which is why the mileage was so low.
it is in very good shape with modern suspension and a 429 so I'm not concerned if the mileage is true but it would be nice to know or confirm it's history.
thanks
mike
