Most of them do not have adjustment. Some of the aftermarket master cylinders have adjustable rods going into the clutch master.

Get someone to push the clutch in and out while you open the hood and watch the firewall around the master and the brake booster. If things are moving when the clutch is depressed, you may have a cracked firewall, a common problem with these trucks.

firewall is ok, is the low pedal caused by a worn clutch disc? It does not slip but I have no idea how many miles are on it. Has anyone replaced the clutch and noticed a difference in pedal height? Thanks again for your help

Yes, a worn disc will change the pedal height. Wear in the flywheel surface will cause it too.

What I did on my truck was to take the master off and sit it on the aircleaner. I took a hacksaw and cut the rod in two. I then took a die and put threads on both ends of the rod I cut. I then bought a long coupler nut from the hardware store, and with a regular nut to jamb it, I put it all back together and used that to adjust the pedal height.

Thats a great idea,I'm going to try it, it drives me nuts when I drive it. Ive got a 71 Mustang with the rod linkage and its fully adjustable, you would think the newer truck would be adjustable. thanks
