1966 F750 needs a home

I was at the Ham & Turkey festival today and I started talking with a guy. He saw my truck in the parade and we started talking Fords.
He has a 1966 F750 he wants to find a new home for. I ran out to where it was parked and took a few pictures.

It's not my style and is awful big, but it would make a nice truck for someone. I gave him my phone number but I didn't get his, that was bright. He was asking $2200.
He said it has 12 gears and it has 49000 miles on it. I don't know the last time it was run, but it has a 2013 registration.

PM me if you want more info. Otherwise, enjoy the pictures.

I don't know if you've posted this elsewhere, but I think you're more likely to get someone interested in the thread that has this year truck in it (I'm not sure how the years break up in this forum) or the big job forum. Just my two cents. Good luck! It looks to be a pretty nice solid truck from what I can see!

I bet that bed is worth the truck asking price, if anyone had a use for it, that is.

I am thinking that bed may just be aluminum. Darn nice truck but oh so thirsty.

Hmmmmm. FT engine.....
Appears to be a "live bottom" or conveyor bed. They use those for potatoes or beets around here.
I'd love to have that factory tach and optional oil and alt gauges...

I need to post this in the forum for those years. Scott, buy the truck take the parts you want and sell the rest for scrap. I like those rims and the interior is great, but the body style doesn't do anything for me.

Yes it's a conveyor bed. I think he said it was used for fertilizer?

Ah yes, that pic explains it. Those beds could be used for various things. The bed is probably worth more than the truck...

I'd love to have that truck if were close to me....
