Recommendation for good tire store

I need to replace the wheel centers for my aftermarket wheels and it was suggested that I'd probably have to visit a tire store in person to get the right fit. The problem is I live on Orcas Island so a trip to a tire store is not a simply undertaking. I'm hoping that somebody can recommend a reliable full range tire store up in the Mount Vernon / Burlington area. I'd be willing to go as for north as Bellingham or south to Everett, but would really rather not unless necessary.

I'll be needing to get new tires while I'm at it, I'm think BFG A/Ts, but that's not settled yet. So obviously a one stop shop would be good.

On a related topic, can anybody recommend a knowledgable shop to perform an alignment on a TTB F150 in the same general area? I've read some horror stories in the forums here about people's experiences with the big name shops.

Les Schwab is on my short list. They've done right by us on several occasions.

I guess my biggest worry, which didn't really get reflected in the subject, is where to get an alignment done by somebody that knows how to work on our trucks. I'd hate to have some kid working on it who's confused because it doesn't look like a Honda from underneath.

For the wheel centers, are they just center caps? I'd suggest shopping online... but that can be difficult without proper info.

No, they are inserts through the hub center of the wheel. The look like this:

You can order those online.

For tires you can call 5 Star in Marysville, it's a small shop that sells used tires but he used to buy from my yard and if it's at all questionable he will not buy/sell it. Jeremy is the owner and nice to deal with.

I thought you were talking about having wheels Re-Centered, which is a custom job most shops wouldn't go anywhere near for liability issues.

Not sure on the alignment as I've never owned a TTB truck. Try in the forum for those years of trucks, I know Bruteford does a lot with that body style so he may have a better idea.

Les Schwab has been a ready steady for us. Nothing bad for Discount Tire either. Les Schwab just happens to be a block away. I haven't tested either with specialty shoes like D load traction tires in 10", but I have faith.

How is putting on a used tire not like reusing a condom?

I agree.
But to answer the question I like Tiny's Tire in Tacoma. If the OP has
not found a place I would give thiy's a call and see if you can send some
photos of what you have and maybe they can come up with an answer.

"Laugh it up fuzzball" comes to mind. I'm in a 24hr business with occasional internet accesss. There is no difference in my day from 2pm to 2am. We have high pressure sodium vapor lamps to combat darkness. A.K.A Norwegian Daylight. I'll do my best in the future to check the posting dates to be sure that unanswered questions (questions that I also, by default, have a vested interest in) do not exceed a timely response schedule.

Les Schwab is a joke. Always crazy expensive compared to Discount Tire and they charge for things Discount will do for free. Even my BMW dealership quoted the exact same tires as Schwab and were $260 cheaper. To make the choice even easier, you cannot go online to price tires with Schwab, you have to go to the store. I drive past Les Scwab and go an extra 50 miles to get to a Discount Tire store.
