4 wheel drive lights on switch & dash
Ok. Brand new here. Have searched and read through a ton of info on here, but still have not found info on the indicator lights for the four wheel drive on a Bronco 2.
I just put on a new transfer case motor, and have checked that when I hit the high button is does indeed lock in at drive line, just no light on switch or dash.
When I hit the low button the light on switch lights and so does dash, and checked at drive line its locked in.
Also checked the transfer case motor position after hitting both switches does look like they are in the right positions.
I checked the little orange light in the switch it works when tested with ohm meter. But it is loose so not sure if it is making good contact to board. cannot seem to figure out how to get to back of switch housing even when taking small screw in center out. dont want to break it.
Also, how the heck do you get to light in dash?? Took panel off front of dash but, again that assembly just does not want to seem to just easily come out to get at back of those little indicator lights to check. Also a white plastic piece with an adjustment dial??? that extends down toward shifter on column...I have no idea what to do not to break stuff to be able to just indicator lights.
Does anyone know if one light is out the other does not work? had this issue in a dodge on the airbags throwing a code because two indicator light are tied together
ANY help is greatly appreciated.
