Transmission Id?

All: The tag on my transmission has the following:
top line: PFB F
2nd line 012406
The transmission casing has C8AP-7006-C cast into it.
Casing is cast iron, has removable aluminum bellhousing
Can anyone id this transmission- Cruise-O-Matic? or ?
Does the number cast into the casing indicate it is a 1968 model, car or truck?
Thx. Jeff

That is for access to the torque converter. There should be a rubber plug in there.
