Had visits from Robert 78 Ford and Clout yesterday. Still looking for others who promised to stop by.

 

Any of the La. boys show up? Talked to a couple that were out here on the rig that were going to CTC, said they were going to find ya'll and say hello.

 

Good trucks - Good cars - Good friends - Good shine - What else could a man ask for ? David has pics. I even have my clothes on in some of them

 

We had a great time without a doubt. Steve's tires are about an inch smaller than when the week started. Nope, none of the other locals or out of towners who said they'd stop by made it. Too bad, their loss. We're gonna do it all over again next year cause we can and all who want to be here will be welcome.

I'm gonna have to delete some of my older pics first cause I'm reaching even my supporter limit.

My Saturday started at 4:30am with a tow to Hammond, La.
Heavy fog along the way. Got home at 9:30.
Mississippi highway Patrol called me to pick up a wrecked motorcycle around 11.
Owners family came and picked it up after 2:00.
Found out that I was next up on the PD rotation around 3.
That led to 3 tows for the Gulfport police. One at 5:30 then 9 & 10.
Closed my eyes just after midnight.
Harrison County Sheriff Department woke me up at 2:05 am Sunday with a roll over wreck 40 miles from my home.
Back to bed at 5am.
Was at the shop at 9:30am to release the impounds from the night before.
Sorry to have missed all the conviviality and fellowship.
Maybe next year.

 

I tried to get there on Thursday around mid day. Finally got an opening to turn left off of Hwy. 90, then couldn't get into the lot where you were set up.(truck is too low to get over curb, cars right behind me). Sorry I didn't get to stop by. Lots of fat fendered old Fords down there this year. Keep up the good work, there's always next year CTC 19!! Later, Steve

 

Another good show. If the show was as great as the people I shared it with, it would be perfect. For those who didn't make it, you missed good weather, beautiful cars and some of the best people on earth. Now, get off your a$@ and make plans to be there next year!

 

I enjoyed meeting y'all. Sorry I couldn't get back by on Saturday. We'll see y'all next in my 78.

Sorry I didn't make it by. I kept telling myself I'd go by tomorrow and I ran out of tomorrows. I had a blast and I'll make it a point to stop by next year.
