Arrrgh....I wanted to see a nice fresh built engine but I'm at work and they block photobucket and all videos.

If you upload the photos to your member gallery and then link them from there I can see them...but thanks anyway

No idea. Scrapping it as soon as I get a new chrome bumper. Came with the truck.

Did that truck actually come with that engine? Never before heard of a bump with a Cleve from the factory. Especially a CJ!

Nope. It was produced with a 302. I bought it with a 351c 2bbl motor from a 74 Torino. Bought the CJ for my 51 Merc M1 truck but a fellow from Calgary bought it before I could install the engine. So if I was going to build an engine... I decided to build the CJ and wedge her in there. 72 CJ in a 72 F100. Year correct and small block engine. Closhe enuf.

351C = 1970/74 Passenger Cars/Ranchero's only.

Flareside = Ford, a Stepside is a Chevrolet.

No 1969 anything had a 351C. 351W introduced in 1969, 351C in 1970.

I don't want to start an argument, I know you've got the official info, but I've seen them, read about them, and even worked on one. My theory is that late 1969 mustangs had the early 1970 engines.

Sorry to hijack your thread M1
