This is a great truck and the wife loves it. But like all 18 year old trucks it needs some love so this week we began getting the maintenance which the last owner at least had slacked on. First since spring is here and we are already seeing almost 90 degree weather the AC had to be gone through. found that the compressor front seal was leaking and so we went all out. compressor, evaporator, condenser, accumulator, New hoses basically everything but one hard line got replaced as well as the heater core. then the radiator fluid looked like mud and was leaking so a brand new 4core, water pump with all new hoses and belts and motorcraft thermostat. Also the truck has a set of nice buckets with center console from a bronco but the power drivers seat didn't work and so we had to address that and found that the power circuit was never hooked up. Done now the wife doesn't need a pillow to drive. Lastly the rear power windows and door locks didn't work. But after new motors and lock actuators everything works as it is supposed to.
I still need to do a set of fuel pumps because the front pump fills the rear tank and when on the rear tank there is not enough fuel pressure for the truck to run right. Easy fix.
then on to the ride. It totally sucks. 4400 front springs and 9800 rear literally makes this thing ride like a logging truck. It at one point had a cab over camper. So I have purchased a RSK from Trevor at PMF here in tucson, and it is waiting to go on hopefully this weekend since I found a set of W/M code superduty springs to go in it.
then wheels and tires and just have fun in it for a while.

Oh yea I almost forgot. after doing all of that I climbed into the truck to run around the block and could not get it to come out of park. Turns out that my mechanic pulled a paperclip out of the brake light switch wondering why it was there. Well the switch was bad and somebody had use a paperclip as a bandaid. causing the shifter to lock out and not allow me to come out of park. $10 later and a quick change things work great. it was really the only thing that we found that was bubble gummed together. This is a really clean truck mechanically, and will some day have a super clean and nice body and interior. For now doing good and I will keep this build updated.

Haha I figured you would say something like that. I personally love the snow up here minus when it happens when you need to do something and it makes us have to put the Harleys away for the winter (just got the 07 Harley out of winter storage yesterday been in winter storage since we pretty much got it).

This year we got maybe an inch or 2 but usually we get about 3-6 inches sometimes a foot so it isn't much. It probably snows about 4-5 times through the winter. And no it doesn't last long maybe a day or two at the most then it is time to jump in one of the pick ups and tear up some mud. LOL

I assume your asking about the RSK. I got the Precision Metal Fab 2.25 RSK in Raw but with upgraded crossbar. I know that W/M springs will be a little heavier than most run but I couldn't pass them up for 350 for all 4 springs. The only parts I am currently missing is the 4 billies that should be coming any day now.
