ok I recently did an egr delete kit aswell studded the heads trucks seems to work fine I had some issues with the stock gauges but now they work. Yesturday and early this morning when I started the truck it said check guage the oil pressure was all the way down when I gave it some gas it went right back to normal any suggestions why this maybe happening and or solutions???

 

Did you have issues with other gauges, sounds like it could be related? Fuses blown? Perhaps you had something unplugged that you need to check. Also, can you read any codes?

 

yea my tach wasn't working but everything works now my obd scanner took a crap so I have to get a new one but the oil pressure drops when its at idle but shoots right back up when I give some throttle

 

The "OIL PRESSURE" gauge in an over grown idiot light.
When the pressure at the sensor(switch) reaches about 7PSI
the gauge will jump to center. There is no true pressure reading
other than you have at least the 7psi.

The only to get a real reading that you can count on it add a gauge.

You might want to check the harness to see if you have a bad wire.
