you could run stock rockers, or stock adjustables with that cam. With non-adjustable, a lot of time, and shimming will be required to get it perfect. If you intend to be reving the engine to 6000+ you will want to beef up the stock parts (end stands, hardened shafts etc).
For my truck with a hot 390, I find 4000 rpms is more than I want on the street..... would need better tires for sure :P

Either way, that'll be a lumpy cam, should be lotsa fun. Good part about a hydraulic roller is it'd be easy to swap if it's too big for you.

just realized the dynos are for the "PACKAGE"
but ports on the performer are crude and uneven , when the performer RPM are nice and rectangular (bigger)

Deeproots, when you say shim will be required, you mean shim who go under rocker stand right?

Yeah and Lunati advertise this cam as a daily driver!!!

Mike 68 I bought the RPM version, the heads I have are the GT with 72cc and the bigger valve. I read going roller cam can add like 20-30Hp!

I am wondering how much HP I will get in the end?

Thanks for the help guys

yes, you'll measure for pushrod length and get close, but if using non-adjustables you might need to add a shim as needed.

I got the Performer RPM, waiting for delivery.

I am finally going with roller cam/lifter:
Lunati Voodoo 20330710LK
Lunati 20330710LK Ford V8 352-428 1963-1976 Hydraulic Roller Voodoo Retro-Fit Cam & Lifer Kit RPM Range 1600 - 5600
- RPM Range 1600 - 5600
- Lift .559"/.559"
- Dur.@.050 211/219
- LSA/IAC 112/106

I already have the book from Barry but the other one seems to have a lot of good information.

You are right I did a little research and saw there is lot of complain about Pro Comp breaking with the needle bearing going in the engine.. Cheap is not the way to go when it comes too engine part. I will probably keep the original rocker for now and if I have the money I will go with the Harland set.

I really didn't know that!!!! Is there any sign indication on the rod?
Have you got your engine going yet? I was wondering what you thought about the cam.
