I have a problem with my 78 Ford. Guy I bought it from said a forklift hit the cab corner. I need info on the best way to fix or repair this. I have a donor cab already to go.

If you have another truck ready to go then it is cut and paste. Measure twice and cut once! I would brace the cab with square tubing before begging to cut so that everything stays square.

I am pretty sure the outer wall is all that is damaged, Interior looks like factory. I guess you can seperate the two sections and just use the outer piece?

X2 on the complete cab, is it a patch doner cab or what? You could try to pull it (looks like they did twice and just wasted their time) and it would be a waste of your time too.
But I am no body man at all.

I'd try to leave the top roof piece and cut from the seam that is there, then dolly out the small back edge dent, once you have the lower part cut out.

And there is not really no way to get behind it, maybe a little access with the seat belt shoulder reel removed, but not really.

Get that headache rack outa your way, pull the back glass...

The drip rail is another matter all together, if you can work it out and then get the chrome trim piece to put on later?

I have a complete cab that I was just gonna fix and replace this one with, but it has more rust damage in the floor and up the kickpanel than mine does, Mine also needs new floors, but the kick panel on mine is fine.
It isn't my daily driver, but I drive it from time to time, is one I wanted to fix and drive as I go along.
The drip rail is spot welded in, it can be drilled and rewelded, my major problem is the hit has pushed the door opening so the door rubs when closing.
Ideas are always appreciated, Never can have too many opinions on how to fix it.

I head a body guy once say "If its bent metal, its fixable. Rusted metal is replaceable". As long as you have some thing to attach the patch panel to, just keep cutting the rust out till you get solid metal.

Keep in mind structural integrity is something to keep and eye on.

Cut the lower bent piece out and see it you can "adjust" the door edge?
