Looks like it is only available in Switzerland. Says it is a 75W80 oil, I bet it is just synthetic 75W80 gear oil.

Thanks for the cut sheet for the oil. It indeed looks like 75w-80 synthetic . I know redline makes some ..
I checked on that zf oil and can't find it ..

I used the D4 ATF, it was what the local distributor recommended. I put in four quarts and didn't see much improvement in the shifting or gear rollover, so i added the other quart. I have had no problems with the overfill and really haven't had the improvement in rollover noise i was hoping for.
Maybe you will have better results with the MTF

Appreciate the post. Near as I can tell everyone suggests the MTF. I know these trans call for Syn atf from factory. However, Syn ATF isn't helping me with synchro issues. Worst I can do is try it to stave off a rebuild for a bit.

I'm gonna check a couple semi truck places tomorrow, but if I can't find anything I might just try the redline mtl as well. Looking at the specifications of the redline, it is close to the zf fluid, which was recommended to be best by zf.

I am another one that Redline did NOTHING for other than lighten my wallet.

A $450 REBUILD fixed it though

what is gear roll over, is that the horrible sound these 5 speeds make when taking off from a stop?

The sound of gear mesh when you do a SMF (single mass flywheel) conversion; usually more audible in lower gears at slower speeds..
