I've started acquiring some parts for my 68. I've just got access to a 77 1/2 ton with discs and power steering. I think I read on here somewhere that if I convert to disc brakes then I should use the 73-79 DJM beams, not the 65-72. Is that correct?

The DJM #DB3004-3 Dream beams are listed as fitting 68-79 F100/F150.

I recall there are actually two PNs so yes... spec the beams according to the year of the spindles.

The difference in the king pins from the 67-74 to the 75-79 1/2 ton is .0001 thickness and less than 1/10th of an inch in length. The DJM king pin hole diameter is a lot larger than .0001 thickness difference from any 1/2 ton king pin.

The shackles and hanger kit numbers are different too... that was a lesson learned.
By the way, I have a 73+ set of shackles and hangers with rear shocks.
ALMIOST New... mounted a time or two... never driven.
