I already have shorty headman headers on my 1992 460 with glass packs, but will adding a k and n air intake make a noticeable improvement in daily driving and performance?

 

No if you still have E7TE heads. Your limitation is the small valves.

what all did you do for the full emissions delete for your 460? I have a 92 460 with k&n filter and 2.5 inch dynomax dual exhaust system and soon getting headers but I want to make it more efficient and powerful.

what all to delete emissions?

 

I removed the following;
-cat converter
-smog pump/thermactor
-thermactor air lines
-egr and egr lines
-tab and tad solenoids unhooked

This led to a check light and a few codes, but I was able to tune that away. Looking back, I’m not sure I would have done it.
