Hello, I own a 1999 F250 sd 5 speed manual, v10. Can anyone please give me some specific details pertaining to swapping to a ZF650 6 speed transmission. Anyone here had any prior experience with this swap? This is a 4 Wd vehicle. <br />

Not yet, been looking though. The rebuilt ones I've seen like on ebay they don't come cheap. Why do you ask?

 

I have one in my '02 gas and they seem to be as rare as hen's teeth.
Even Jasper sends them to ZF for remanufacturing and they will not use your 5spd. as a core. Even the core charge is like $1500.
