New to me Excursion!!!

Pick this up last month, 2004 Ford Excursion Eddie Bauer 4x4 V10, got it to pull my 2007 Sunset Creek Travel Trailer, I had a 2003 Expedition with the 5.4 but she didn't like pulling the camper so much. So far I have had to put a brake light switch on it, with the help of this forum, love reading what people do to there Excursions!!!

Was the 5.4 just to much power? I know it has a lot of raw torque...

It had plenty of power, just didn't like the hills and the trans was struggling also, but the truck had 225,000 mile on it

Never mind Apoc, he's our black sheep with a 5.4 Excursion

Clean looking rig, personally I'm a big fan of the white with tan combination.

Thumbs up X grill upgrade

I found a used OEM grille on craigslist and cut my own. Piece of cake with a Dremel tool (w/ diamond disc).
The CNC cut ones are a butt-load of money in my opinion.
The 05-07 headlights are a great option too, for the better light that they put out!
Nice rig- be sure to get a big rear sway bar if you don't have one...

Congrats on the new ride. Looks great.

On another note,

The more pics I see of the users rides...the less I want to introduce my "Schoolbus".

I have yet to see anything even close to the condition it's in

I'm hoping at least I drive a good lookin' parts truck

Can't go wrong with white! very nice. I had 2 white broncos and a white f100,f150,f250,f350, and expedition. I figured it was time to try something different. But boy do they look good. And you never have to wash it.
