Lockable fuel & DEF caps or lockable fuel door?

Does anyone manufacture lockable diesel/DEF caps for a 2013 model? I may be paranoid, but I don't like the idea of unlocked caps being such a costly single point of failure on these trucks. Thoughts?

There is a locking fuel cap. I gave one. There is an ugly chrome fuel door.

Someone here posted how to make existing door locking.. Can't find either topic at the moment.

I found one on Amazon. When it's locked, the cap just spins in place. I keep the oem cap in the vehicle just in case. It's something of a pain, but the HPFP on these trucks is just to expensive to risk failure because some punk pours water in the tank.
I may be a little paranoid, but someone will have to work harder to vandalize my truck engine.

How about an rv type cam-lock you drill and mount on the door ?

Not the brightest bulb in the closet but here's how to size, etc -->

While I haven't felt the need for it... that might be an easy install that can be painted to match...

on edit -- the wife's new Explorer sport not only doesn't have a lock, it doesn't have a filler cap... just the sealable 'hole' that you push the fuel handle through to fill -->

This is the type of lock that I installed on the fuel door. It is an easy install, looks better than the big chrome door (IMO) especially when painted to match and cost about $10.

How about a photo and maybe a write up for those who may wish to DIY this project?

Adobe,
That looks great! Is it a simple RV-type lock? Curious how the latch looks--can you upload an inside-view picture and any instructions/tips? Thanks!

I will try to get a picture of the inside of the door uploaded and a write up on the install today.

The lock is the same type as an RV lock, but I bought if from a local hardware store because I wanted to make sure that it had a stainless steel cylinder. I'll also post the dimensions of the lock, cam, etc.

It would be great if there was an electric solenoid type lock that would lock the fuel door when the doors were locked. I might order up one of the door lock actuators and see what I can do. My Corvette has one and it's pretty basic.

As you Guys all call it, "that big ol ugly chrome door", I put an AMR chrome locking door on my truck. Matches all the other chrome. The only problem with is, it came with a generic RV CH751 lock and key. Anybody can get these keys at an RV supplier. I installed one of those 'round' key cam locks on mine.

Here is the one I bought off Amazon. A few people on the forums have these, and I haven't had any problems with mine.
