gauge cluster question

My 88 has a white small hose that hangs down from the cluster I would like to hook it back up for the needle in the p/r/n/d.. what does it hook up too..?

There should be a little hook on the steering column , it will be on the shift selector part of the colunm.

If the loop is cut? That means it probably died from old age but it could be from the needle being gummed up. Wouldn't hurt to go a little deeper and clean stuff up. Be careful with the painted stuff!

Yea the loop is there but that's it so where should that lead to in my gauge.. I'm guess???

Sounds like the cable is broke in the middle and you need one of these. Make sure it is for the correct transmission. The one pictured is for a C6 with no overdrive.

Well if it could figure out how to add pics from my phone I'd show ya to me.. but u have that piece also they just aren't connected
