Installed a new entertainment unit in my 2012 F250

Have had the radio in and out of my truck so many times trying to get a radio in it that will keep me happy that I think I could do it blindfolded!

My truck is just a lowly XL, so the best factory radio available in it was just the am/fm/cd. Plays good and of course looks like it belongs there since it does.

BUT, I wanted in-dash NAV and DVD and Bluetooth, to that end I first put in a Pyle 7" screen NAV/DVD receiver, and at first it was okay but not great, and the motorized screen was a bit of a pain to operate. The one excellent thing it had was the iGo Primo navigation, which is the best NAV software out there. But, things on the radio started to meltdown, finally did nothing but give me trouble.

So, next came a TView piece of crap radio, the one good thing it had was a HUGE 9" screen, made the NAV so easy to see and use, but the rest of it was JUNK! I let the place I got it from talk me into doing an exchange so I swapped in another one and it was just as bad, so pulled it out and sent it back and then went round and round with the seller to get my money back.

Put the factory radio back in and then tried a magellan 7" NAV on top of the dash, HATED it with a passion! It had bluetooth but it was way too low on volume, both on output and input, so I could hardly hear it and the folks on the other end couldn't hear me very well, and the NAV software was terrible. So, sent it back and got my money back for it.

This brings us to today, picked up a Jensen VX7020 In-Dash NAV/DVD/Bluetooth radio from newegg.com by way of a seller called "Best Shop" for only $269.99. Got it all installed and it seems to work really well, has the iGo Primo NAV software and tons of other features. Jensen is owned by the same company that owns Audiovox, and this radio is their newest top of their line unit.

Here's the video review I did of it...
