Thx I'm gonna do the top this weekend . I did my sons golfcart a few weeks ago rolling on a rustoleum flat black . Took forever to get hard but looks great. I'll definitely try the catalyst. Ps truck looks great.

I used Van Sickle equipment paint catalyst, I picked it up at Ace for about $9 a pint. Just eyeballed it while mixing the paint and thinner worked very well paint is nice and hard and has yet to smash off even with aligning the hood haha

Well guys long time no reply but my truck is damn near done!

I recently rebuilt the front end bushings ball joints u joints calipers all that good stuff, bought this flatbed for $300 and its a sturdy SOB with a full back rack and side rails! Rear end pinion has some play now though... I suspect the crush sleave is bad tried to tighten the pinion but back up but keeps coming loose ( I know that isn't the right way but it works) any ways I will have to fix that soon.

Only other things I would like to do is put some 30x9.5 Dunlop MT's on it and possibly a aussie locker for the rear they had a great black Friday sale on them for like $250 shipped I am very tempted to ****** one up.

Nice bed for the money. The aluminum diamond plate costs what you paid for the whole bed!!

Long time no post, alittle update on the F2****ty.

Since completing the paint job, that still looks great btw the truck has had many many things replaced. All the brakes and lines have been replaced, I replaced the rear springs with leafs from a late 80's 1 ton ambulance, new shocks, disassembled both axles, swapped the gears to 3.55 with new bearings and Spartan lockers front and rear. She got all new steering components, u joints, new oils pump, put some new shoes on her ( 235/75 good year wranglers ) added some laser cut SS door badges and put on some sweet hub caps! For two years this rig has never let me down always ready to go to work and play and with 330k this little 300-6 has far outlasted my diesel pickup and continues to impress me every year. Be it hauling seed or pull out stuck semis i can truly say this truck is BUILT FORD TOUGH!

Finnegan and Freiburger would be proud!

It's on my bucketlist to paint an old car with a roller brush on a roadtrip!

perfect timing for this topic

the 95 I bought earlier this year needs a little dressing up. especially as I've been repairing rust spots. I'm going to try your method. shooting for a 10ft paint job. shes currently ugly at 50 paces
