05-07 air dam extension question

i keep looking at the lower front air dam on the 05-07 bumper and can t help think it would look nicer with a little extension about an inch or so

i saw a post where some used a newer air dam on this application but think it was to deep

anyone had any luck doing something like this?

thanks (going to run out of stuff to do on this rig soon… right?)

Nah,
it's actually a good disease to have... upgrades are easier than new trucks like I've had to!

but not sure swapping air dams would be beneficial and actually may do harm without flow dynamic engineering, etc....
