Aftermarket Oil Gauge

Hey folks,

Just looking for some suggestions. Here's what I got done and what I want to do. I converted the oil sending unit over to an early model Mustang oil sending unit and got the interior factory gauge cluster working properly with the conversion....

Recently, I added a tree to the A-pillar and decided I wanted an aftermarket oil pressure gauge to go with it. The oil gauge I purchased came with another sending unit and a complete wiring harness.

MY question is: Should I add a T-Fitting into the all ready extended plumbing from the real oil pressure gauge conversion? Is there another location on a small block 302 to fit a 2nd oil sending unit? I also have a thermostatic oil filter adapter plate that only has lines for the engine oil cooler. What should I do? The area for were the original oil sending unit is all ready over crowded as is...

id add a T-fitting. nice to have the dash one working, even if it doesnt really show true pressure, but it would be moving, somewhat.

That's a nice gauge. Always liked the analog gauges with a digital readout inside since I first saw them on a plane.

Yes you can add a t-fitting. Not sure if there's any other ports on the block that show pressure right off the pump.

This is the manifold I made to hook everything up.

Added a mechanical gauge later. Read all about it here.
