Before I go getting dirty all over again... Transmission cooler line?

Just completed swapping the lower radiator hose and I think I banged against the line just above it. It had been dripping before hand and I think that explains why the hose was so swollen but now with the new oil its dripping like a faucet that hasnt been fully shut.

It is leaking just after the fixture/screwy part (sorry for newb lingo) where it meets the actual steel hose

Im guessing this is as easy as attaching a new line... but I am not finding a replacement at Advance Auto/Napa/Pep boys that resembles this under transmission cooler line. Is this called something else or am I just mildly retarded? It appears that there are metal nipples that screw in now and u clamp on rubber hoses, correct me if I am wrong please.

One the plus side (knock on wood) the oil pan gasket I changed without lifting the engine isn't leaking a drop (yet)

if I'm not mistaken, the OEM trans lines are all metal from trans to radiator (at least they are on my 460-E40D). You may want to provide year, model, engine, and trans info so others can provide accurate info.

It's a little difficult to see the line, down deep, in the pic you provided

I just replaced mine on my 97 f250hd a few weeks ago, i made my own out of nickel copper line and re used the fittings going into the radiator. It's not hard at all to do. I used NiCu line because its a plow truck and rusting lines is a problem. The one thing i did different was have the local hydraulic shop make me a 6" line so i could put it in the pressure line as a vibration isolator.

If it's just rubber hose, then ask the parts store for (however many) feet of transmission oil cooler hose. They have it on bulk spools and sell it by the foot at a decent price.
