I will admit I'm envious of how much time you get with your truck, I'm hoping to finally drop that 366 in in a month! 5 months late!
I must acknowledge two people - my wife, who has been very understanding (of time and money!) through the project and my dad who has been over the past 4-5 weekends helping me with the paint and reassembly! It's been fun but I'm ready to be done!

I could almost do that. My workwas scrapping out an old hmmwv buck (chassis section) we had used for some testing and I wanted to grab the aluminium filter housing but couldn't think of what to do with it. Now I can and am kicking myself!

Though it may not have been big enough for this sucker!

Thanks! It's Eastwood dead flat rat rod black. It's a single stage urethane that sprays pretty well and seems to be pretty tough.

That is looking great JP! It's coming together quite nicely. I'd say the electrical work you have left to do is relatively minor compared to what you had to go through to get it running!

I hope I'm wrong about this, but there have been guys that have had issues with those angled silicone boots on their IC piping. They tend to blow out at the bend sometimes. Hopefully you won't have that issue with yours.

Keep up the good work!

I've read the same thing Nate. Was it Mike or Aaron or Glenn that kept blowing THROUGH a 90 boot at the turbo? My thinking was that maybe a 45 would stand a better chance. It was also the quickest route to running at this point I'll carry a spare and weld a steel 45 in there eventually if need be.

Good catch, though!

Its the straight joint on the right side that I kept blowing so I doubled clamped it.

Glenn, what would cause that to blow out? A buildup of pressure getting trapped right there?

Just a weak spot, I guess. I think some just weld those two pieces together. I also got rid of the straight boot and got the hump boot from Clay, works better.

Man, those are nice pipes, Glenn. I have a feeling I'll be welding some together down the road, but they still won't look that good!

Thanks Corey and JP, I fresh it up after six months on the road but I'm sure by RRE time it will look like hell again!

That's an engine compartment to be proud of. Mine needs that kind of treatment.
