2000 Super Duty. 4 Wheel ABS or RABS?
My truck has been pulling to the right some days but not others. Saturday morning on my way to work it started pulling really hard. I could tell the truck was fighting a fair amount of resistance, but it was 2 in the morning and I had to get to work, so I drove the last 10 miles anyway. When I got to work, I had smoke rolling out from around the caliper.
At the end of the day, I got into the truck and drove home without incident. I think I'm going to go ahead and change the front calipers, but I want to also change the flexible fluid lines up front while I'm already in there, since I've heard these can also fail and cause this type of problem.
After looking around, I see that while the front right hoses are the same, the front left hoses are different depending on if the truck has 4 Wheel ABS or 2 Wheel ABS. How do I know what my truck has?
Here is a link the to my truck's build info if needed

If it is 4x4 with ESOF and 4-wheel ABS, it will have three lines: vacuum, brake and sensor. They are bundles together at the factory. The sensor wire is the one with a plug and connector on the back side of the inner fender. The sensor itself is inserted into the hub. It is held in with a single bolt. See the thread by Racerguy in the Tech folder. (All you ever needed to know--with pictures!)
