Wiring trailer lights on truck

I'm putting a new 7 pin on my truck. Can someone tell me what each color wire goes to? 2005 f250 lariat, 6.0. That way I can hook it up

I used this diagram to troubleshoot my '06 and it was accurate. I would think they are all fairly standardized.

Just remember that you have to match the trailer side in reverse so that it "mirrors" the truck side.

Many diagrams show both sides labelled to avoid confusion.

Something pretty simple but still easy to mess up.

Is that like looking at the trailer connector or looking at the trucks connection

Here's a link showing both sides.

Scroll down to the 7 pin section.

The diagrams are correct but ford uses the middle connection for reverse lights so be careful what you wire there.
