Chrome lug nuts for steel wheels?

I saw a picture awhile back where someone had an obs with chrome lug nuts on the stock steel wheels that were long enough to cover the bolts for the Sterling 10.25 and shorter ones for the front wheels.

Does anyone know where I could get lugs like these?

Like the ones on this truck(found this pic from google images)

I have those on my truck.

I found these on a truck in a pick n pull. I tried to order some more from all the local parts stores and none of them had anything long enough (the local Carquest DID sell me some that were exactly too short and I gave them back with one of the ends of the acorn blown out).

From a quick look, Summit doesn't carry them anymore, and niether does Jegs. Kind of disappointing.

Sounds like what I'm looking for, Summit and Jegs are the first two places I looked and I've had no luck anywhere else either.

I like the factory steels on these trucks since I painted mine black, but I can't stand looking at the still rust colored lugs and bolts.

Chrome, splined. Ebay. I ordered an extra socket, one for the glove compartment and one for the tool box.

So I looked on Ebay again and found a set of splined and acorn style, it says they will fit a 96 f250, but I'm not sure if they are the correct size I need.

Acorn

Thanks,

Is that $12.43 for one lug? I would need 32 of them

Im not entirely sure, I guess I would get in touch with somebody there and ask if that's for one nut.

Thanks GNR I'll try to get a hold of someone over there.

The sizes all look the same with the acorn style I posted above except they have a 3/4 hex and the Dorman are a 7/8 hex, the one's from Ebay should still work right?

The ones that are on my truck are 7/8". I would trust dorman parts before eBay stuff.

Those prices for the Dorman lugs are for a single lug. So I'd be looking at around $400 for all 32 that I need.

Ebay does have a few more options that are identical in every way to the Dorman(even a few that are longer) so maybe I'll look into one of those since I don't want to spend that kind of money on lugs.

yeah, I'm not going to pay that. I even looked up those exact lugs on a few different sites and they are all about the same price.

My studs are 2" long if I measure from the rim to the end of the stud. Most lugs I have found are 1.9", which is going to be cutting it close, and the Dorman's are 2.3"

But I did find these that are 3"

Amazon… great prices. I normally don't buy on-line but these prices can't be beat.

I normally do buy from Amazon but the only ones I found on there that would work are.
http://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Automotive-76197XL-Duplex-Thread/dp/B000CMF53S/ref=sr_1_83?ie=UTF8&qid=1410122132&sr=8-83&keywords=96+ford+f250+lug+nuts+7%2F8+hex http://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Automotive-76197XL-Duplex-Thread/dp/B000CMF53S/ref=sr_1_83?ie=UTF8&qid=1410122132&sr=8-83&keywords=96+ford+f250+lug+nuts+7%2F8+hex

Which still isn't nearly as bad as the Dorman lugs.

If I do buy the more expensive ones from Amazon it's just because I like dealing through them over ebay
