For what it's worth.... TSC has Rotella ELC concentrate for 14.99 a gal. This is not the "ultra" concentrate nor is it the 50/50 mix.

Yes it is.

 

My only problem with that is that my first failure on my current ex was I had tranny fluid mixed in with my coolant. It was due to radiator failure, I caught that the same day (cause I look under the hood almost every time I drive her) and had the Ex towed. I believe if I had used the red coolant I would not have caught it until seeing other signs and truly believe that much more would have needed repairs or leave me with future problems. Just my .02

I do realize that I'm probably one of the few here that worries about it, but I'm sticking with the ford gold.
