wiper motor choices for 54 F100 rhd?

Hi guys.
Am converting my truck to rhd with Jag front end etc and the engineer just had a look at it, said the wiper motor (which I bought brand new) has to go because the wiper only clears a relatively small amount of glass on the right side. He suggested I use am xj6 jag setup or something similar.
I am wondering whether that will work as the holes for the wiper arms are spaced to feature the left hand side and the jag wiper arms are quite long. Anyone tried and tested these items on their truck?
I guess what I was thinking was cutting out the wiper mounts and physically welding them into a spot which does permit the wiper arm to cover more glass ( I have already spent a bomb on wiper motors and wiper arms and new pivot points so I really don't fancy coughing up for a new system, but if I have to I have to.
Anyone tried the jag setup on their early trucks?
Thanks guys

Nah, too busy bloody working mate. I figured I can extend the wiper arm another couple of inches only before it hits the top of the window rubber, but I don't know if that will be enough to satisfy the engineer. I am going to take some photos of the extended wiper arm and send them to him and see what he reckons. If he is satisfied the extra couple of inches sufficiently wipes the glass clear on the rhs, then that will be very very sweet. If not, then I am back up you know where creek again. Keep you posted! Ta

Not sure, my friend. He probably had a different engineer to get it through. LOL! Not saying anything about my engineer, but some guys are particular in certain areas, some in others. I completely agree with the ineffective length of wiper arm on rhs as it currently sits, because it just wouldn't clear the screen, so I am happy to do whatever is required (though I can still grumble under my breath about it) Heheh.
I am waiting for a rhd firewall to turn up and a couple other bits as well and I have a welding guru who says he can do some work for me, so once that stuff turns up I will get him over and have a chat with him about the whole scenario.
Keep you posted!
Peter

Actually great news, guys! Engineer has said the extra two inches should be sufficient to cover most of the glass, so all I really need is a an extra 2 inches.
...the wiper arm we're talking about, guys. The wiper arm.
Happy days? You betcha! Saves a truckload of work!
I don't know whether you can buy longer wiper arms, but I would imagine even extending the existing one would be the answer...

Guys! Found something that works!
Trico adjustable wiper arm. Stainless Steel. Wheelbox fits our trucks, adjusts 360mm. See this thread for more info!

Nice Pete, glad to hear you got something to work! Thanks for sharing it for others.

I think we met at the F100 Western Nationals back in California back in 08 or 09, right?
