New project truck-ster....

I drug this out of the woods today......always wanted one! 1958 Ford 2 door ranch wagon. Comes with a 4 door parts car that has all of the missing pieces.

why didn't i pick a simple hobby....like collecting stamps????

Don't think I've ever seen a 2-dr '58 wagon, that does look cool!

I was really surprised to see the tail lights on your wagon.
I have never seen 58 lights on a ranchero so assumed all the tailgates uses 57 lights and all the wagons used the same lights as 57.
I have a 57 ranchero and 2 57 ranch wagons sitting waiting for me to get to them. (hopefully some day)
Good looking project

Yup.

I need to sit down and take a hard look at all of my "future" projects......
I have 4-5 in line AFTER I finish the COE. This car is near the top of the list though.

I had a 57 2D ranch wagon 6 cyl 3 sp on column, I inherited from family duty. I really liked that car. I don't know about the 58, but in 57 the 2 door wagon had a different length body than the 4D/Galaxy, body parts were not interchangeable.

That is too cool, I would move that close to the top of my project list too if I had it. I have been thinking about building a wagon but they are not as easy to find in NY. That looks like a good solid builder.
