i bought a factory emblem cam to put on my 2013 tailgate and use with my Edege CTS.
had a few install questions to clarify

how does original 9 inch ford emblem come off (i think just stuck on)
how does new camera attach

I'm going to add raa plug to 0em wiring so i can attach to my CTS monitor, what wires are for what on camera

has anyone removed the 9 inch tailgate badge and installed the oem emblem cam?
if so hows it done?

I could be mistaken but I think you have to remove the inside of the tailgate to get to the pins that hold the emblem on, and they are held in place with spring clips I think

 

took tail gate panel off and there was a metal baffle in the way of getting to the back of the emblem

any other ideas

looks like the inch non camera emblem is a stick on
to remove yo have to pry it off
back up camera option emblem has a housing that screws on the the tailgate behind the emblem that snaps on to it
