351 build underway
Operation GoFastBadAss is officially underway.
Finally found a 351 roller, cast number F4TE. The plan is to build it up and swap it into my Bronco.
I figure I'll start putting together a parts list. Please chime in if you see something wrong.
1994 Roller block, stock bottom end
GT40 heads
This intake: Intake Manifolds - Ford - 5.8L- Performer Series - Edelbrock, LLC.
New distributor (open to suggestions)
Gonna try and find some long tube headers (open to suggestions)
Not sure about a cam yet, trying to find something with good power off idle.
5.8l ECM
New Ypipe
CAI
Hope to get some pictures up and make some progress.

I was thinking this cam would be good.

I can't really find much else with a desirable RPM range for a hydraulic roller cam.

The cam you want is the Comp 35-512-8, notice it has 114 LSA.
There is no need for anything but a stock Ford distributor, there are no performance gains to be had with it.
Pacesetter makes some of the best fitting longtubes, avoid Flowtech and Hooker. There is also the OBX brand available on eBay that a friend of mine has installed on his Focus and F150 and he said the fit was excellent, these are stainless too so the price is also excellent. I thought there was a difference between the 5.0 cams and the 5.0HO/5.8 cams because of firing order. And there's no flywheel difference or is that a manual tranny only?

Auto transmissions use a flexplate not a flywheel and there is a balance difference.

Well you CAN use the 5.0 flexplate, but you're not going to be happy with the "Whole Lotta Shakin Goin On" with it on a 351W
