Do yourself and all of us a favor and take the truck back to the "reputable shop" that fixed your trans and let them figure out what is wrong with it. They rebuilt the transmission and if it isn't shifting right and driving like it should, then their job isn't done.

It may just need a very firm talking to to be let it know that this funny business is not acceptable and it had better shape up right away or you're going to swap in a ZF5.
