Posting to Classifieds

I've been trying to post my 1940 1 1/2 ton truck for sale under the classified section but when I click on the Marketplace link the only posting category that comes up is for parts. Am I doing something wrong or what? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Tim

I hadn't even noticed the 1950 limit. Time to lobby for a change.

Posting to Classifieds

I just figured I was doing something wrong since the first ad I saw when I used the posting link was for a 1933 Woodie. I would have rather posted the truck on this site since there are more big truck lovers here but I don't make the rules.

I sent a message to the person that is apparently in charge of that forum. We will have to wait and see if the range of years is expanded. They already have it going forward to 2016.

Just got this reply:

"Unfortunately this is a setting that can't be changed, I have asked about it before. If you have a pre-50 vehicle just select 1950 and put the actual year in the title."

Thanks for all the effort. Seems strange to me but like I said its not my forum. I thought about selecting 1950 but don't know how it will affect searches by year but I'll give it a try. Need to sell or both '40 1 1/2 tons so I can concentrate on my "new" 1939 P/U.

Still no luck. Keep getting the prompt "invalid mileage" so I'll stick with the adverts I've already posted.

What is the mileage you are trying to put?

The speedo is an after market Stewart Warner with 6 miles or so on it. I tried 100,000 and then 97,425. No go with either.
