Talking 1961 F100 Unibody Project Lowbrow

hey guys heres my project im working on named her lowbrow





rendering done by ben over at hermance design




















tailgate fell off never found it

















the tear down begins














front clip off





stashed in the parts truck





lets get this ol thing out of the way




















previous owner solid mounted the front mounts so had to plasma them off











houston we have liftoff

stating to break down the frame








not sure why i tool this picture





blowing out the rivets on the chassis



going to be posting on here regularly so stick around to see her come to life

busting out the rivets with the oxy acetylene





got her mostly stripped down

progress

made some progress today got the frame up on the bench and starting modifying her










setting my ride height





had to cut out the bed to make some more room











drawing up some plans and getting dimensions








got the cut marks lined up for the Z'ing














got it separated

They say you need "time, talent & money" for a proper build...you look to have those covered. The rendering is top shelf also, kudos! By the way the shop looks massive, where you at?

update

Hey guys heres what i did this week on her





left off with the rear frame cut





built a sliding rack to move the rear frame up





got my transition built made it from 3/16ths flat stock








got the tops built and welded in place





built and welded in the boxing for the transition





built the fab 9 from scratch came out pretty good i think <br/><br/>Built from 3/16ths flat stock & 3" x 250 wall tubing








made a body cart to get the body off of the rack

















got the frame stepped up the 14" in the rear next week going to focus on the front and rear suspension

That's a shame.
Sad to see another unibody, Integral Cab, possibly be sidelined from a new life on the road.
I hope these folks are still making efforts to keep the project alive.
