Our economy is so strongly tied to commodity prices that a lot of folks are at the mercy of factors far outside their control. It's a tough way to live.

Sorry to hear soko.
Yea it's pinching time, everyone wants to be under budget to get their bonuses.
Have a few trucks in the yard that need fixing, can't even get an oil filter without getting yelled at.

Well I'm off to Medicine Hat again today, then back to e-town tomorrow.

Beats sitting in the shop with my thumbs you know where.

So hope everyone has a safe day,

Well I hope you have a good drive. Last weekend roads were not very amiable down that way.

It appears that the Moose are revolting in Calgary. There was 1 shot and killed in the Marlborough mall area and now his partner is either trying to get a drink at the TnC or the Station House at 52 & 17 ave SE. I wonder if this is a Moose uprising or protest. When I was in Peace River the moose would come thru town on occasion, twice I got a ride home from the Travellers motor inn to home as there were moose by the American and the Northland hotels.

Environment Canada sure has been having difficulty bringing us their weather. Was supposed to be +3 yesterday but we got a high of -7 instead. This morning it was supposed to be up to +4 and really it's only -9. So disappointing!

Makes you wonder, did you get the wrong forecast, or the wrong weather? Either way, sounds like a raw deal.

I hear you folks out west had some water issues. Some folks had it coming up from the sea, some had it falling down from the sky, and the really lucky guys had both.

Some of our snow melted, that's about all the water we'll see for many months.

Supposed to snow down south here over the next 24 hours as well. Not sure if it'll stick to the roads, as it's been pretty warm, but I'm sure it'll be slick either way.

Had kind of a funny week at work, still not sure if I mean "funny-good" or "funny-bad" yet. Oh well, it's over, next week is a new adventure.
