The 6.7 took us to Cloudland Canyon w/ pics

We took a 4 day trip up to NW Georgia this weekend to Cloudland Canyon State Park. None of us had every been there so not knowing what to expect but had a fantastic trip. The truck performed like no other I've ever had. I pulled a 15,000 fifth wheel 430 miles round trip with 70 miles of it in the mountains, and averaged 10.7mpg according to the DIC and 10.8 hand calculated. I am absolutely loving this truck. We hiked a little over 8 miles in the canyon over two days and had some breath taking views. A lot of you out west, I am very envious of your landscape, but Georgia has some beautiful places too. Here are a few pics of this trip.

My son looking cool on the rocks!

Cherokee Falls

Hemlock Falls

The canyon rim view at daybreak yesterday morning.

West rim of the canyon.

A pic of us after a few miles on the trek.

Spent all my life in NE Georgia, playing in those mountains, but had never ventured into the W Ga mountains. Love it over there now too!

Monty, Thanks for the photo's beautiful country. People ask me what country I would like to go visit when on vacation or when I retire. USA my friend! There is so much to see here in this country I have no desire to go somewhere else. Now I have to put Georgia on the list of places to go see.

Thanks again Monty, very nice!

Yep, that's a nice park. I guess you came in from the east side. I pulled my Suites up from the west side with my 2001 F250 short bed. She did it but didn't like it. Blew out an exhaust gasket. That was the trip that made me decide I needed a DRW truck. Another nice park is up in TN. Fall Creek Falls not a lot further than where you were. Big park with lots of places to explore.
