electric fan for 460?

electric fan for 460?
has anyone used an electric fan with success? I have heard they not cool well enough. Its a 460 in an rv towing a 3000lb car in Florida. Thoughts?

electric fan for 460?
For 460 swaps into mustangs where it is usually not able to use the engine fan the electric fan of choice is one off the lincoln mkVIII. But it needs a high output altenator to run it.

electric fan for 460?
The stock mechanical fan should be alot more powerful than an electric one. An electric fan will have a motor that at best produces a fraction of a HP. A fan belt can transmit several HP.

electric fan for 460?
The advantage of a good electric fan over a mechanical fan is at idle and low rpms. With either fan you have to have a full shroud for them to be effective.

You can put a pusher fan in for an aux fan but leave the stocker fan in.
