Haven't been on motorcycle in years and have no desire to return. .....it's dangerous enough riding around in full size truck here......the thing that always gets me is how not all but a lot guys on bikes buzz around like aholes oblivious to the reality they could be dead in seconds as a result of there macho man riding show

ill have to dig up the pic of my gastank.
i have 80,000 miles on a street bike as a daily commuter. trust me it is dangerous. but most can be avoided if you pay very good attention to the people around you.

Saw a kid on a crotch rocket yesterday. He's not riding today though, we had a foot of snow. Thing is in cold weather this time of year, people just aren't thinking about motorcycles, it's not expected and so even more risky fwiw. Too many people don't know how to drive sad to say, motorcycles are the best, it's something else to ride these days. Oh well.

I know it's not so unrelated, but using the correct tires on your bike. My brother is an example of that, took a bike he was building for the street, and only had street tires, and had to take the dirt road to get there. Long story short, he's fine, but the bike was totaled, and he had just finished building it.
The same goes for 4wheleers and those of us with 6 or more as well. I've seen crazy bikers before driving in the winter weather, being safe is more than just paying attention to the road.
Too many people texting and driving, looking at their fancy in-dash displays, changing the channel, and a host of other distractions being built into vehicles these days are not helping all y'all bikers out there. All I need are my gauges and my radio's. Personally, that's the reason I drive a stick. I'm more focused on the road, my whole body engaged in driving, not just my right foot and one hand.
That being said, I'd like to own a bike one of these years. But right now, I have no need for one.
