removing EEC-IV from my truck

Okay so I started taking stuff off, and I've noticed that a few things lead to the computer plug.
Such as my ac, my window regulator, my head lights.
What about the clips on the driver side fender?
Do I just pull the wires I don't need out of my plug and put it back in? Or how do I do this?
I'm kind of getting to the point where I'm almost over my head.
I HATE wiring and electrical...lol

I would hate electrical too if I didn't have a schematic of the wiring I'm trying to modify (in this case rip out)...
It might be that the computer wants to know when changes to various systems occur to compensate for their usage (bump idle to help with AC load). Pull the computer, install Duraspark 2, see if all works ok... hope it all works, and profit in peace of mind.

I guess it would technically be hei?
I didn't think I would need anything other then the ignition wire to run the dizzy(jsthorngate did it that way no?)
But I have too many accessories to just cut the computer out/all the harnesses.
The window wiper motor has a open steel cable that I think I can just ground, but I don't know.
My ac has wires, there's wires to my starter relay, there's wires that lead to the voltage regulator that splice into useless wires...
I have the harnesses split apart so I can see the wires and colors better. I plan on running the few wires I need(of lights, tach, temp, and anything else through the hole in the firewall.)

that harness is the one that goes to the computer correct?
will all my other stuff run off of vacuum? or how will it all work?
i know how to wire the dizzy, and im rewiring the headlights/kc lights.
but what is the plug ontop of my ac for(is that the idle kicker sensor?)
isnt there more then one wire connected to my alternator? because only one is "free" from that harness.

Sorry, it's tough on my phone because going to the reply window I lose access to the thread.
That looks like your alternator/regulator harness to me.
Are you asking what that fusible link is for?
Yes, It's likely that an unused tang on top of your AC compressor is used for the throttle positioner.
I'm not sure what "other stuff" you are talking about.
Can you be more specific?

Uhm like my window wiper motor. The plug for it, runs into my harness that goes to the computer.
The ac wires on top.
That fused link on the regulator, one of the wires goes to the harness.
There's a dozen or so things I know I need that run into that harness.
Would it work if I just pulled all the useless wires and plugged it back in?
Or will I have to run the wires to their perspective switches.

I'm going to assume the fusible link in your hand is the charge wire connected to the hot side of the starter solenoid.
The picture is kind of blurry on my phone and doesn't have a big enough field of view.
None of this has anything to do with the computer inside the cab of your truck.
If you want to get rid of the regulator in the picture get yourself an 8.25" C-C mount 3G alternator from a mid '90's vehicle.
They have one exciter wire, one charge cable and an integral regulator.
This was already suggested...
