Morning Jim and everyone else. Tuesday will be this weeks Monday, but at least it's a shorter week. I simply cannot believe we are already to September...

Happy Labor day everyone, Tomorrow I hang up the self employed hat after 13 years and start a 9 to 5 job with a steady paycheck...

Enjoy your Labor Day Monday everyone!

Is that by choice Chris or a financial move? Hey a 9-5 job isn't so bad, plus not headaches to bring home. You can punch out and leave it till the next day.

I had a cabinet shop and we did residential and commercial work. And before I opened the shop I was a counter guy at Napa and that's what I am going back to. They have been after me for a while to come back and I finally did..

The residential end has been in the tank for a while, and the commercial end is getting so competitive and when you do get the job you have to wait 60 to 90 days for payment. Really hard to keep the cash flow like that especially for a small shop..

I hear you there! We do a handful of residential accounts and are primarily commercial. Cash flow is king. It is tough business out there.

We get outbid on some things and I don't know of how other companies can do the work at just about cost. Oh well.
