Super duty, Superduty

Has anyone on here been imediately affected by the mud slide?

I also ordered some stuff from Horizon ford which came out to about the same as Rock Auto. Hope to install them Thursday or Friday weather permitting.
Will the paintable grill fit the 06 or is that a no go?

Well today was ok, I did the u joints on my fox body, it drives nice and smooth at 80. I'm very happy that my own work turned out well.

God that reminds me, I need to do all the u-joints on the Excursion at some point. Which makes me shudder... Thing spent 10 years of it's life in Ohio, and looks like it was driven by an individual that only got it serviced when the CEL would come on.

It would fit but not the way you want it to. Unfortunately these are all 99-04 parts and the 05-07 uses a different header panel. Would most likely be a farely large gap.

I did change my idler pulley and thermostat today along with a couple gallons of fresh coolant.

Do you have some access to an air impact wrench and a ball joint press?
That is what I used on mine. Well the air impact wrench was there for backup.
Them little buggers did not want to come out. Before you try to do it. Spay then
with some Kroil or PB blaster.

I used a hammer for both the Mustang and the bronco joints. The bronco ones sucked, they were in bad shape too. The Mustang ones came out pretty easy, and I only hit my hand once! A press would be very nice to have.

Last time I used the ball-joint press on really stubborn u-joints the damn thing cracked at the joints. May just take them in to work and use the 50T bearing press. I like pneumatic stuff.

Installed a new 2008+ Diff cover, new hard ware and Royal Purple Fluid. I used Guzzle's website and Bpounds thread on here. Should have used the studs as mentioned. Rolled 139,000 and installed a new idler and thermostat Wednesday. Definately like the fitment of Motorcraft parts.

See ya'll tonight.

Hey all,
I've been MIA for a month life has been life(ish). Looking forward to shootin' the s**t at Jimmy Macs.

Still working 7x365 so I ended up taking Damien to a local shop to have the Redhead Steering gear/PS pump/new plumbing installed. Rented a 2014 Chebby for a couple days. The difference is phenomenal. Good to have it finished.

Next is MOOG steering/chassis parts to clock the steering wheel and fix the CLUNK I hear/feel on slow speed bumps. I'm sure it needs king pins & all. Ugh.

This mechanic is awesome and I'd recommend him to anyone, but I'd have to ask him 1st before I put his name on the forum. Busy busy guy.

Sound good dugs. My bronco will need ball joints at some point but I have no intention on dealing with that for a while. I've thought about getting a redhead box, I've already got the Saginaw pump and that is well worth the work.
