Well, it's official. I'm now 100% self employed again. It didn't go too awful bad. I can picture doing jobs for him in the future, but it's gonna be a while before I do anything for him. I need a break. I celebrated by getting a haircut. I feel better.

Good Morning Everybody!

Geez, Rich. Are you bored or something?

I'm up and at 'em. I wonder how RC is doing there in Arkansas? I hop he brings me back NO die cast and a pocket full of money instead.

I have to go get a couple body panels out of my shop and return them to the car lot with my key. After that, we're gonna head up to the Street Machine Nationals and walk around a little.

I decided today was the day to clean my coffee maker. What's worse that having to make coffee before you've had any? Having to make two "dummy pots" first. One with vinegar to clean it, one with water to rinse it. Oh well, that first cup after that should be much better.

Morning Alan, yes I got tired of posting little bits and pieces of info. BAM there you go look it up yourself. Thanks for the input to it, those are two great tech threads. And I found another once of yours, I linked it already.

I like helping folks, but they need to learn how to do a "advanced search" 1st before they say "My dash light do not work and no I have no touched anything, what do I do next?".... REALLY?

I am ready to come home.....

Well, the coffee maker is all clean as a whistle, inside and out. That first cup of coffee through it after the vinegar bath is SOOOO good. It takes all the sediment and hard water deposits out. No more bitter taste, just a tasty cup of awesome.

Oh and Chip. Thanks!

Yes, my mood is light years better than it was yesterday. I still have to get over this attack of colitis i got myself into, but it should be much easier from here.

We're back from the Street Machine Nationals. The show was TINY compared to what it has been in the past. I think they need to stop moving it from state to state and just pick ONE venue. It's turning a lot of people off. Still, there were some cool cars and trucks there. I only saw one dent. I'll have pictures up before too long. We did get to see the Farm Truck from Street Outlaws TV show. The truck is actually quite amazing. Not in a spectacular way, though. The rear suspension is only a Ford nine inch with stock control arms and coil over shocks. Nothing fancier than that. ...but it's enough to lift the front wheels on a street launch. The engine is of course, SICK. Dominator on an aluminum headed big block Chevy with two stages of nitrous. No clue what other specs it's hiding within. Anyway, we had a good time regardless. I guess we better get outside and cut the grass before we lose too much daylight.

Hey, RC! If you see this when you get back, check this out!

235/80/22.5 Michelin Tires x 6

I'm not sure if they're the right size, but I saw 22.5's and thought of you.

Good Morning Everybody!

The '48 Ford pick up got dropped off again this morning. It's ready for the next round of fabrication. This time it gets the rear spring perches welded on, a drive shaft made and a steering column and gear box put in. Oh, and the front bumper lowered. ......and a firewall and trans tunnel made. .....Yeah, ....I think that's it.

Morning all, a lot to catch up on since Last Sunday when I posted.

It looks as if everyone is coming to be in a better place with new employment, ending unhealthy employment, getting home from out of town work, and progress on projects in general.

We (my brother and I) got my storage loft 99% done last Sunday and it's already holding some Ford goodies! It just needs a 2'x12' section of the floor and a ladder to be finished...we ran out of daylight and battery juice for cordless tools (no electricity). The hardest part was moving everything out of the way to have room to build. I'm hoping to finish it today and begin organizing.

Good day everyone!
