Evening all!
New diabetic med the doc gave last week me seems to be doing the trick. My blood sugars are lower than they've been in years and I am feeling great. The downside, yes there is a downside, is that I had to stop three times to find a bathroom on the way home. You'd think that my wife would be sympathetic, but noooooooo. She starts texting me raindrops and running water. Geez...
If this keeps up, I might just get caught up on things between trips to the bathroom...

No meds here today but high fiber cereal for breakfast, three Fiber One bars and a couple Nature Valley granola bars during the day with Andouille sausage and broccoli for supper results in record hang time farts. I dropped one that crescendoed with some hang time and was on the floor laughing in tears, Patty got me with the Lysol. I am MR TOXIC.

Dang it was a short day at work, only inspected 5 main rotor blades.
But each blade has 21 individual pockets, so that's 42 pockets to inspect. (Have to insp each side right?). And then I have to tap ck each pocket (each side) at least 5 times. To try to hear if there is any honeycomb dis-bonding. I am suppose to be using a .2 kg texolite hammer, I use a 5 ruble coin, so the Russians to not think I am hammering on a brand new blade.
21 pockets + the other side = 's 42 x per blade, so 5 blades = 210 pockets x 5 taps each pocket ='s 1050 taps....long day.
Along with insp the tip cap lights, mount hwdw, BIM indicator to see if there is any nitrogen leaks form the titanium spar. Do a serial # ch against the (passport= their manufacture paperwprk) to make sure it matches up and is not a fake passport or boot leg blade.
Insp the nickel abrasion strip for de-lamination, and the trim tabs to be aligned and not be out of limits, and a few other parts and pieces that are not as cool.
But after that, I did get to look over a old Russian Biplane today setting on the ramp. I believe it was a Polikarpov (Po-2 Light Brigade biplane). During World War II the plant manufactured about 10,500 of them...This one I looked at, looked to be a after the war trainer, NO machine guns and looked like it was about to get overhauled for being put on a display stick or in some museum.
Pic is from the internet, cause NO cameras are allowed on the flt line.
Morning Missouri. I'm tapped out. lol

sounds like a rough day rich glad it is you and not me..... but that is a cool old bi-plane.. i got to go up in a bi-plane with a friend once.. for being a slow, low altitude, low tech machine it was the best flight i was ever on.. the vibrations, wind in your hair, cable and pulleys squeaking and flopping, and a very loud boxer engine made it so much more of a thrill than even a trip in a corsair A-7k without afterburners was ..
