Look how clean that is in there! I'd love to work on stuff that nice.

RC, let me know. I have a Cadillac CTS parts car that will DEFINITELY be one of the cars to get squished. (since I love those cars so much)

It's brand new, has ZERO flight time on it. Life in Afghanistan will be very harsh on it here, real soon.

RC. I think the Olds will be closer in length to the Caddy. I'll have to measure the Caddy when I get it back from the engine guy. (we found a guy to do "pop and drops" so I have more time to do other stuff.)

OBS can mean either 87-96/97 HD or 92-96/97 HD.

I suppose it's quite arrogant of us to call our trucks the "Old Body Style" when most of you guys have trucks much older.

Also, yet another extremely useful utility a bucket can provide;

OBS is Old Body Syndrome.....that is what old folks suffer from. I almost posted that pic, but thought it was a crappy idea. Lol

Good Morning Everybody!

Off to work at the lot. I just did a set of lower ball joints on a Durango last night before I left. That was, ....not fun. No tellin' what's in store for me today.

At least its close to the house and you do not have to fight traffic to get there....you can walk home for lunch, no traffic jam to fight at 5....

Hope your day goes well.

Yup, done our Dangitdon'tgo ball joints, uppers and lowers at once. There's no good way to get the press good and square first try.

I got to rebuild the steering column in a '96 Impala SS. Some jack hole replaced a piece in there and screwed up the linkage. So I got the fun of taking it apart again and figuring out what was messed up and fix it. It's going back together now. I told the guy I used to do theft recoveries all the time. I forgot to mention that was 20 years ago! It took me a second to remember how everything comes apart.
