More wood to split today. got to get ready for the winter. Note I get the dogs out in the fresh air while I work in the yard. We get them out as much as possible but newfs and hot weather isn't the best for them. So there is a little more energy as the weather gets cooler.

 

My saint was always the same way, but not so much anymore. Now he's just slow all the time. He's almost 12 years old now.

 

Got my new energy suspension radius arm bushing in the mail today! Looks like I'll be doing those, as well as my adjustable camber kit this weekend!

4:47 heard a crash up the street. A car hit a pole. Pole won. So Willard is closed from Stoddard to West Hill. That my cause problems for Ray maybe. If your coming in from Willard.


Went out yesterday to split wood but the Briggs and Stanton didn't want to start. I've got my middle son coming out today to take a look.

Do you use fuel stabilizer John? I think most no-start conditions on small engines are caused by gummed up carbs. I forgot the stabilizer a couple of winters ago and none of my power equipment would start without some carb cleaner. One of them had to be disassembled.

 

This is a 6.5 that looks like it's 40 to 50 years old. To start the engine you have to remove the air cover and foam filter then get gas into the chamber then pull the cord at least 5 times. Note that the cord rewind unit is free so that you can lift it off and rewind the cord. It may be time to visit the freight store for a new engine.

My truck would take a lot of work to put it in a show...the wheels are shot, traction bar nameplates are rusty and who knows what else. Just been getting in it and driving everywhere lately

Yeah I heard that crash this morning as well, it was pretty cool sounding as crashes go. I figured that loud pop after the impact was a tire blowing.
